Description |
| The gasket is an equipment part or material which prevents fluid leakage and keeps dust away from equipment. The gasket is classfied according to using location. one is the gasket using for non-moving parts. And the other is the packing using for moving part.
Many components should be used to prevent leaking content from reaching internal parts of oil-pressure equipment: include the compressor, pump, boiler.
In case of rotating shafts and reciprocating motion, the materials are inserted to prevent leaking gas and liquid from penetrated part. The packing material used is determined by the material and shape of the device, as well as the actual sealing location, pressure and movement.
It can be used all kinds of materials.(ex. raw ruber, synthetic rubber, leather, plastic,asbestos, paper,wood ,steel,copper,lead ,alloy etc.)
